If you’ve ever dreamed of playing as Ramirez or Hudson in an Alien game, now’s your best chance to do so (or get close to, at least) with the ability to change your appearance in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.

A new squad-based PVE shooter, Fireteam Elite allows players to create their very own Colonial Marine from the off, but you are also able to change your appearance afterwards — even if the option is a bit randomly placed.

To change appearance in Fireteam Elite, go to your pause menu while back on the Endeavor, then select Loadout.

From there, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Change Base Appearance. You might miss it due to the odd way the menu is laid out, but it’s actually in its own Appearance section.

Here’s where you can change your hairstyle, facial hair, voice, and even your sex in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Want to change it again? Just follow these steps. Sadly, there’s no Ripley skin. Point goes to Fortnite on that one.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite may not be a feature complete game, especially with only partial cross-play and weirdly no in-game chat whatsoever, but it’s a nice touch that you can change your Colonial Marine as you see fit, whenever you like.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
