Blizzard Confirms New Diablo Game With Job Listing

Diablo

Blizzard Entertainment is the birthplace studio for several famous games, such as Overwatch, StarCraft and the infamous World of Warcraft. The developer has been working hard on two of those IP’s, Overwatch and WoW, to ensure that the massive fanbase surrounding them is as satisfied as possible with their gaming experiences. However, it looks like the developer is finally giving attention to another one of its beloved franchises; if a new job listing is any indication.

The listing, which was posted on the ‘Job Openings’ section of Blizzard’s official website, says that it’s looking for a dungeon artist to work on a “new, unannounced Diablo project”. The job requirements include modeling and texturing assets, and being “passionate about working on the dark, gothic world of Diablo”. All you have to do to apply is head over to the website with your resume, cover letter, portfolio, and a willingness to complete any anonymous tests that Blizzard may want to subject you to before trusting you with the world of Diablo.

The job listing doesn’t mention Diablo 4 by name, but given that Blizzard seems to be looking for super experienced people to work on this new Diablo-centric project, it’s very likely that it will be the next entry in the series. Who knows though, maybe Blizzard will join its fellow developers in the recent trend of skipping a few numbered entries. Diablo 76, anyone?
