Chivalry 2 Coming To PS4, PS5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X With Crossplay

How chivalrous.

Chivalry 2

Chivalry 2, the sequel to the 2012 smash hit Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has been announced as coming to the eight and ninth generation of consoles.

Landing on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, Chivalry 2 will also feature crossplay support across all platforms.

A first-person combat game with a tonne of brutality, Chivalry 2 is being developed by Torn Banner Studios and Tripwire.

Chivalry 2, currently available in closed beta, will be playable on the Epic Games Store first in a time exclusivity deal.

Here’s the synopsis from EGS:

“Master the blade with an all new combat flow that combines our real time strikes and free-flowing combo system to speed up the action and let players become a whirlwind of steel on the battlefield.

“Experience the chaos of epic medieval battlefields as armies of players clash with an intensity meant to emulate “The Battle of the Bastards” from Game of Thrones and other classic medieval movie scenes.”

No news on console release dates just yet. Hopefully that will give the industry enough time to decide how we all spell crossplay. Cross-play? Cross play?
