Blizzard have announced that they will be holding a 15th anniversary celebration for their popular MMO World Of Warcraft, with new content and rewards available for those who play Battle of Azeroth.
From today, players can get involved in a brand new Memories of Azeroth raid, which allows you to relive boss fights from Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm. The raids require a minimum item level of 380, and completing all three sections of the raid will unlock the Obsidian Worldbreaker, “a Black Dragonflight mount inspired by Deathwing”.
PvP players will also be able to experience a new environment in the form of Korrak’s Revenge, a new battleground inspired by the early days of Alterac Valley. Competing in Korrak’s Revenge and earning Alterac Valley of Olde achievement will unlock a new mount depending on whether you’re Alliance or Horde: the Stormpike Battle Ram and Frostwolf Snarler respectively.
Just by signing in during the event period, which lasts until January 8th 2020, you’ll also earn an Anniversary Gift which includes a Lil’ Nefarian pet, increased experience and reputation gain and more goodies.
