Recently, Microsoft announced that 13 titles would be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate over the next few weeks, including a number of exclusive titles such as Tell Me Why, Battletoads and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Unfortunately, to welcome 13, we’ll be saying goodbye to 7.

In the Xbox blog post about the new Game Pass games, Microsoft revealed that five games would be leaving the service on August 31st, with Creature in the Well being removed from console and PC, while Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut. Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 HD, Metro: Last Light Redux and The Jackbox Party Pack 3 will leave the console service. On September 1st, NBA 2K21 will leave console Game Pass, while Red Dead Redemption 2 will leave console Game Pass on September 7th.

Red Dead Redemption 2 leaving Game Pass already seems sudden, but that’s the case with a service like Game Pass, and besides, with titles like Resident Evil 7, Tell Me Why and more being added, it’s a decent trade. Will you be sad to see any of these games go? Sound off in the comments.
