3 Rockstar Games Coming To Xbox Backwards Compatibility Next Week

It’s rare to see backwards compatibility announcements come ahead of time, but today is the day. Rockstar Games have announced that next week, players will get access to Rockstar’s Table Tennis, Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be joining the backwards compatibility library.

The games will go live on Thursday June 7th, and like all backwards compatible games, they’ll either appear in your Ready To Install list or you can just use a physical disc where applicable.

As far as the games are concerned, they’re definitely some welcome additions. GTA: San Andreas practically speaks for itself, and in a stroke of genius, players will be able to use either the original Xbox game or the 360 port. Table Tennis is a criminally underrated game that showed off some impressive graphical quality for its time. Lastly, Midnight Club: Los Angeles built upon the brilliant arcade racing foundations that the series become synonymous for.

What are your thoughts on this backwards compatibility announcement? Will you be playing any of these games? Sound off in the comments below.
