Chris Pratt is still gaining ground in his campaign to become so awesome that he rips the fabric of reality in half. Last night he fulfilled his inevitable role hosting Saturday Night Live and he did not disappoint. It gets better though.
The crowing moment of the night came when Pratt took center stage in a sketch which fired shots directly at his biggest success story: Guardians of the Galaxy. The sketch pokes fun at the increasing obscurity of the franchises that Marvel selects to give the silver screen treatment, whilst making ample use of ‘Hooked on a Feeling‘, as you might expect. Pratt takes center-stage as a series of hilariously random, obscure Marvel titles are showcased.
Pratt is well documented as having a sense of humour about himself and this sketch is no exception. If ever there was any uncertainty about the bright future Pratt has ahead of him, it’s gone now. Also, don’t know about you, but Marvel’s Fancy Ghosts sounds like a winner, I’d go see that.
