Hyrule is a big, crazy world in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one that’s going to take you a long, long time to get around if you’re doing everything on foot. Luckily, it doesn’t take too long before you unlock the ability to fast travel and get everywhere in a flash.
To unlock fast travel in TOTK, players must first get access to the Temple of Time by completing the three shrines dotted around Great Sky Island. Once inside, complete the simple rewind puzzle, then try and interact with the door. Rauru will appear, and unlock fast travel for you in your Purah Pad.
Press – and then select your map. You should now be able to fast travel to any fast travel icons that you have already unlocked across the map; these are typically shrines and notable POIs, such as the place where Link first crash lands.
Press A on where you want to fast travel and you will be transported there, making it far easier to get around Hyrule from here on.
