Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate too, has long been touted as one of the best deals going in gaming, offering hundreds of games for an affordable monthly price. With the introduction of EA Play as part of the Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it’s a deal that’s set to get bigger and better, but it might not be for everyone.

Perhaps, for you, there are no more worlds to conquer on Game Pass. With that in mind, here’s how to cancel your Game Pass subscription on Xbox Series X | S, or any other Xbox-related subscription if needed.

How Do I Cancel Xbox Game Pass On Series X & S?

Theoretically, you can’t cancel your subscriptions through the Xbox. In order to cancel Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold and EA Play, you need to do as follows:

– Press the Guide Button in the middle of your Xbox controller.
– Scroll over the Profile & System tab and select Settings.
– From there, go to Account and then Subscriptions.

Here, you’ll see all your currently active subscriptions, along with any that you’ve cancelled in the past. If you’ve switched over to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, this screen might look more like a graveyard with one area of life.

Clicking on your active subscription will take you to a small menu that allows you to swap your payment method, or click on a hyperlink to go to the Microsoft site, where you can properly manage your subscription. It’s on the Microsoft site where you can cancel your subscription through the Microsoft Edge app, but you could also use your phone, PC or laptop too.
