While it looks like the PS5 will be supported pretty well by media apps from day one, there are quite a few big ones missing, namely WWE Network.
WWE Network is the premier subscription service for PPV content, it giving you access to all WWE PPVs as well as some really great documentaries. With it being available on PS4, will we also be seeing a WWE Network app on PS5?

In their announcement post, Sony mentioned a host of the biggest media apps will be a part of the PS5’s app line-up, including the likes of Netflix and YouTube, from November 12th.
They also mentioned that many more apps will be coming post-launch, such as Amazon Prime Video. WWE Network wasn’t mentioned, but it’s a safe bet that it won’t be long before it arrives on the PlayStation 5 as it was one of the most popular apps on the PlayStation 4.
WWE haven’t mentioned any plans to introduce a WWE Network PS5 app just yet.
Where Can I Watch WWE Network?
WWE Network is available on pretty much every platform imaginable, including PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Apple TV and many more. WWE Network costs $9.99 a month but it also has a free version that you can choose to watch older PPVs and features.
