NXT 2.0 hasn’t drawn much praise from WWE management, but four wrestlers in particular have been named as stars with WrestleMania-level potential by the backstage officials. Those four names are Von Wagner, Xyon Quinn and The Creed Brothers of the Diamond Mine have been picked out from the fresh crop of NXT superstars, with Julius Creed of the latter tandem being one of the most impressive of the bunch.
The company have a lot of faith in these four as future headliners on the main roster, mostly down to their size and presence on screen. Despite their inexperience in between the ropes, WWE want to push them hard as part of NXT 2.0 so they can learn the tricks of the trade and make good on their future potential.
The Creed Brothers have been often related to the likes of Kurt Angle, who similarly impressed backstage officials during his initial run with the company, soaking up the knowledge and experience of those around him like a sponge. The Creeds have been storming through the 2022 Dusty Classic, and are likely going to make it all the way to the finals to set them up for their first Tag title shot.
Von Wagner has had a stop-start run in NXT so far, emerging on the premiere episode of 2.0 and somehow making it into the Championship fatal-4-way. Wagner has since turned heel and feuded with Kyle O’Reilly, now aligned with Robert Stone to act as his mouthpiece.
Quinn hasn’t had quite as much screentime as the others, but has feuded with Legado Del Fantasma in recent weeks.
