After launching on PC, PS4 and PS5 late last year, Team17 have announced that Worms Rumble, the battle royale re-imagining of the classic series, will be making its way to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and the Nintendo Switch later this year. The news was announced on Twitter earlier today.
Looks like the Worm is out of the bag!

What’s Worms Rumble Again?
Worms Rumble takes a huge departure from the established formula of the Worms series, replacing the turn-based gameplay with a focus on real-time, action-packed matches instead. Along with regular death match modes, there’s the battle royale inspired Last Worm and Last Squad Standing which sees players compete to determine who the best survivor is.
No details were revealed regarding the Xbox and Switch ports of Worms Rumble, but if Xbox’s current form is anything to go by, it’ll be announced for Game Pass by the end of the week. Considering that Worms Rumble was also a PS Plus game when it launched, that’s not a far-fetched possibility.
