While there might not be as many side quests as there are in games like Dark Souls or Elden Ring, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty still features a couple of side quests that don’t exactly give you clear directions on where to go next. One such side quest concerns a wife asking her husband to run errands, picking up a few essential ingredients along the way. Here’s how you can find complete The Errand Running Husband side quest in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Where To Find This Side Quest
This side quest begins in Part 3, when you unlock the Hidden Village hub area. In an island in the northwest corner from where you spawn (if the direction you face when you load up is north), there’s a wife and husband stood apart from each other on their own island. Talk to the both of them and the wife will ultimately say that she’s going to ask her husband to look for a Detox Jerky. This is where the fun begins.
Where To Find The Husband – Part 1
For the first stage in this process, you’ll need to wait until Part 4 when you unlock the Sub Battlefield titled “Escape From The Capital”. As soon as you spawn in, turn around and look to your left, and you should see the husband stood on the ledge. It’s fairly hard to miss him. Talk to him and give him a detox jerky, then head back to the Hidden Village once you’ve finished the level. The wife will be very happy with the jerky, then ask the husband to go out again to find an Oil of Awakening. We all know what this means.
Where To Find The Husband – Part 2
In order to find the husband for the second time, you’ll need to wait until you reach the Part 5 Main Battlefield called “The Way Of The Warrior”. About halfway through the level, you’ll reach a mausoleum where you’ll be introduced to the Terracotta Soldier enemy type. Just before the entrance to that mausoleum is a hut on the left-hand side. Inside the hut, you’ll find the husband. Give him the Oil of Awakening, finish the level then head back to the Hidden Village.
Where To Find The Husband – Part 3
Once you’ve gone back to the village, speak to the wife once again and she’ll have a third and final task: find some Sacred Lotus. Obviously, you couldn’t just give it to her there and then though. Instead, you’ll need to find her husband, who’s located in the Part 6 Main Battlefield “Behold The Glaive Of Righteousness”.
Just before the mid-level boss in this level, you’ll enter an area covered in fog, making it hard to navigate. However, on the right-hand side of that area is the husband, stood on the hill. The fog area’s layout kind of resembles a sideways M shape, and you’ll find the husband at the center point of the M. If you’re struggling to find it, there’s a shortcut from where the husband is stood to the pre-boss fight Battle Flag, so you can work your way backwards from there. Give him the Sacred Lotus, finish the level and head back. You’ll be given some weapons and gear as a reward for all your hard work.
The Errand Running Husband isn’t the only side quest you can find in the Hidden Village, as you’ll also need to find a Taoist’s House Keys.
