Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How To Use Accolades

There’s a lot of systems at play within Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, but one that could probably do with a bit of extra explanation is the Accolades system, which rewards players for being an avenging angel. How To Earn Accolades

Accolades are earned by avenging a player, which is done by killing an enemy that killed another player. You’ll be able to tell when an enemy who killed another player is nearby, as you’ll find purple death flags scattered around the area. The enemy in question will also have a purple aura around its Morale Rank, signifying its status as an enemy worth taking out. If you’re successful in defeating this enemy, you’ll earn some Accolades, with the amount you gain increasing when you reach the later stages of Wo Long.

Where To Spend Accolades

Once you’ve earned some Accolades, you can spend them by speaking to Zuo Ci in the Hidden Village, though you can only do that after completing the Part 3 Main Battlefield titled “In Search of the Immortal Wizard”, which sees you rescuing Zuo Ci. After finishing that mission, head into the big house near where you spawn in and speak to Zuo Ci, and one of the options he’ll offer is Accolade Reward.

Here, you can redeem Accloades on ammo for your ranged weapons, new emotes, and random Boxes of Armor. There’s a Box of Armor for every weapon type and armor slot, and the boxes come in three different varieties:

• Bronze (500 Accolades): Randomly obtain a 1 or 2 star item, with a small chance of obtaining a 3 star item.
• Silver (1500 Accolades): Randomly obtain a 2 or 3 star item, with a small chance of obtaining a 4 star item.
• Gold(2800 Accolades): Randomly obtain a 3 or 4 star item.

Accolade rewards aren’t the only thing Zuo Ci is good for in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, as the village chief can also help you respec your abilities, or change your appearance and hairstyle.
