Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

It’s not hyperbole to say that a lot of people are ready for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, particularly since we will probably never see most of these characters again. At least until Disney fires up the remake machine in 10 or 15 years.

For now, you’re ready to see James Gunn and company conclude the story of the ragtag misfit gang of heroes known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. And if you can’t see GOTG Vol. 3 in theaters, or if you just don’t feel like leaving your home, you’re almost certainly wondering how to watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 online.

The good news is that it won’t be long before you can watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 online. We know without question that the movie will be available to stream on Disney+, as all of the Marvel movies end up there following a theatrical run. As to when, we can’t say for absolute certain at this moment, but the release window for Disney for MCU movies on their streaming service is anywhere from 48 to 90 days. As we said, it’s not going to be much of a wait.

When Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is available to stream, you’ll likely be able to rent the film from services like Amazon as well. You can expect the price of a digital rental to be somewhere in the range of £15/$20, with that price likely to drop as time goes on. It’s also likely that there will be a physical media release around the same time. When the physical Blu-ray version of the movie is made available, the price will probably be around £20/$25, a bit more for 4K.

Your best bet to watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 online is to get a Disney+ account, sit tight and wait for an announcement of when the movie will be available to stream. Again, it probably won’t be a long wait.

About Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy has gone from being a movie based on a comic book few were familiar with to a beloved component in Disney’s powerhouse MCU machine. It’s hard to believe 9 years have passed since we were first introduced to Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot, Rocket, and many of the other characters that make up James Gunn’s unique stamp on not just science fiction, but superhero movies, as well. Fans are likely to run the gamut of emotions as they traverse the stars with Peter Quill and the gang one last time.

Questions abound and will hopefully be answered. Will Quill finally come to terms with the death of Gamora back in Infinity War? Will Rocket the Raccoon finally find the gun of his dreams? Will Groot say anything besides “I am Groot?” All kidding aside, Guardians of the Galaxy carved out its own unique approach to character and plot. It helps that all of these movies to date have been directed and at least co-written by James Gunn. The same main people have worked across this entire trilogy, giving these three movies a sense of unity that is arguably lacking from much of the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
