Following his reveal last night, LazarBeam’s Fortnite Icon skin will be coming to the Item Shop on March 4th. Before then, though, players can also earn Lazarbeam for free by placing well in the Super Knockback Cup.
Just like recent Icon skins, Epic are collaborating with a content creator for their very own tournament. The Super Knockback Cup, which is a collaboration with Fortnite, LazarBeam, and MrFreshAsian, is a Duos tournament that’s inspired by the absolute best weapon ever added to Fortnite, the Flint-Knock Pistol.

When Does The Super Knockback Cup Take Place?
The Super Knockback Cup will take place on March 3rd, 2021 with timings varying per region. It will be pretty different to a “serious” tournament as players will be able to knock back other players with their weapons and fall damage will also be turned off. There will also be a new weapon, Lazar’s Flight-Knock.
You will be able to play a total of ten matches across a three hour window before the cup finishes. Be sure to be logged in well before the tournament takes place to make sure you don’t miss out, as well as that you have 2FA enabled.
How Do I Unlock the Lazarbeam Skin For Free?
To unlock LazarBeam along with other cosmetics, you have to place pretty high in Super Knockback with placements depending on your region. Here’s every prize you can earn for taking part in the Super Knockback Cup.

Will Lazarbeam Come To The Item Shop?
LazarBeam’s skin will be sold in the Item Shop from March 4th and will likely remain there for at least a week. It will likely cost 1500 V-Bucks if other Icon skins are anything to go by, though you will also be able to buy other cosmetics to go alongside it.
