Sprucing up your very own college campus to attract new and retain enrolled students in your smorgasbord of funky courses is crucial to running a successful college in Two Point Campus. However, compared to Two Point Hospital, Two Point Studios have added some additional features for you to micromanage every part of the appearance of your university in Two Point Campus.
Aside from simply placing items in rooms and corridors, players now have the option to customize the appearance of said items, wallpapers and floors in your rooms, and staff outfits.
Customizing rooms and items work under similar simple principles. Hover your mouse over the desired room or item and then click to select it. On the description menu (top of the screen for items; right of the screen for rooms) find the paintbrush button and click to access the customization options.
For items, a simple pop-up menu will appear next to the paintbrush showing all available paint jobs and appearances. For rooms, you’ll find an entire menu to the left of the screen with tabs for wallpapers and floor patterns. You’ll need to spend some Kudosh, the in-game currency to unlock some of these cosmetics, so be sure to earn and save some of this resource throughout your missions.
Also, when first building a room and placing items, you can also click on the small paintbrush icon next to an item from the object placement menu for quick access to decor options.
To customize staff appearance and outfits, you must first hover over the desired staff member and click on them. On the information panel to the right of the screen find the coathanger appearance customization button.
Once you’ve clicked on this button a menu will appear on the left showing all available outfits and cosmetic options for your staff, as well as tabs for each of the three types of staff, so that you can easily sift and find the staff member you wish to customize. You can either customize staff on an individual basis, or if you want to apply the particular cosmetic to all staff of a particular class, click the “Apply to All Staff of this Type” and watch your faculty get a visual facelift. Just like room appearance options, you’ll need to spend Kudosh to unlock outfits.
