The rumour mill is churning out some big ones today. With SummerSlam only a couple of weeks away, another big star has been teased to make an appearance in her hometown of Toronto, the former multi-time women’s champ, Trish Stratus.
Last night on SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair put forward an open challenge to any wrestler for SummerSlam. Naturally, most fans are assuming this is the first step towards a match between ‘The Queen’ and the Hall of Famer. Flair is out to prove that she is the greatest female superstar of all time, so a dream match against Trish is the best way to pass on that torch.
We’re very excited to see Trish make her singles return to the ring. Since her comeback bout at WWE’s female-only pay-per-view, Evolution, Trish has been in constant talks with WWE for another brief return run.
