Bandai Namco have announced that they’re teaming with Outright Games, Coatsink and Hasbro Inc. to bring Transformers Battlegrounds to PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch on October 23rd. Check out the debut trailer for yourself down below, if you like.
Details are scarce on the type of game Battlegrounds will be, but the trailer appears to hint at a top down brawler of some kind, where players will be able to live out the battle between Autobots and Decepticons across Central City and Cybertron. The press release also states that the game will include “tactical warfare”. The game will include both single player and local multiplayer action, making it an ideal game for the whole family.
More information will be revealed regarding Battlegrounds in the coming months, along with pre-orders that’ll go live soon on the Outright Games website, so be sure to let us know where you’ll be fighting for the Autobots and Decepticons in the comments down below.
