Tony Khan appeared on the ‘Rasslin with Brandon F. Walker‘ podcast to promote AEW’s appearance in Long Island, NY, talking specifically about the near future of his promotion. Khan mentioned that fans should not only expect more spectacular wrestling matches on episodes of Dynamite and Rampage as we see out 2021, but also to expect more surprises sooner than later.

Khan spoke on Bryan Danielson and his willingness to wrestle on a weekly basis, giving his absolute all to ensure wrestling fans are watching the very best wrestling possible. Danielson is set to compete for the AEW Championship at the Winter is Coming event next Wednesday. Though Khan also mentioned that fans “can expect the cards to get bigger and bigger” even after this PPV-quality special next week.

As far as these surprises go, Tony didn’t specify exactly who or what to expect. However, he did say the following:

“We have some good stuff coming. We have some good plans for the future, good surprises, and great moments, and most importantly, great wrestling matches.”

With the likes of NXT’s Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly now free agents, as well as many other released WWE superstars, there’s a lot to be left to the imaginations of wrestling fans as we head into 2022.
