Tom Hanks Riffs on ‘This Is How We Do It’ At A Jewish Wedding

It seems like there’s a lot of entertainment to be drawn from the antics of certain respected actors. Bill Murray’s to-do list is fast becoming the stuff of legend and it’s hard not to smile wistfully whilst scrolling through the photojournal of the two best friends in the whole wide word, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Tom Hanks is no stranger to this kind of thing, a couple of years ago he helped an excited fan at some random diner mock-up some glorious drunken blackout photos and now it seems he’s up to more mischief, observe the image below:

Now, we’ve all got stories about wedding hijinks. Drunken punch-ups, somebody vomiting in Granny’s hair, the creepy uncle that only shows up for big events being caught in a broom cupboard with a woman 3 times his age, you know the stuff. Record label manager Scooter Braun can now top just about any of those stories after his wedding on Monday, as a very drunk Tom Hanks took to the stage at the reception, still in full Jewish attire and began to sing along to Montell Jordan’s This is How We Do It. The footage comes courtesy of Justin Bieber, who rather than being there as the unfortunate gag prize of some hellish panel show, is actually one of Braun’s clients and one of many noted celebrities who attended the event. Whatever your views on Bieber might be, you can’t understate the unadulterated awesomeness of this footage.

The only downside that I can see is that such a thing might result in unrealistic expectations for future marriages. I’ve never been sure if I want to get married, but certainly now I won’t set foot near any wedding unless I have an iron-clad guarantee that Billy Bob Thornton will show up in a Bekishe and sing I Got 5 On It. Otherwise what’s the point?
