Ubisoft have officially revealed the latest Ghost Recon game, titled Breakpoint, but you know that already considering the fact it leaked the beforehand. Check out the official reveal trailer below.
Breakpoint follows on from the events of Wildlands. You play as Nomad, sent to Auroa, a remote island in the Pacific Ocean filled with a variety of beautiful environments. It’s also home of Skell Technology and the Wolves, a rogue Spec Ops unit that have commandeered Skell Tech’s impressive drone army. The hunter has now become the hunted, as you try to survive behind enemy lines.
Honestly, the focus on the dangers of technology as part of the trailer’s worldbuilding made Breakpoint feel like a Black Mirror episode written by Tom Clancy himself. Still not sure if that’s supposed to be a compliment.
Breakpoint will support four player co-op, and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 4th. PVP will also be available at launch, and your progression will be consistent across both modes. Ubisoft are also promising the first ever Raid content in a Ghost Recon game, which is something, and you can pre-order now for beta access.
