Thor: Ragnarok Screenplay Released Online for Free

Released back in October, Thor: Ragnarok achieved widespread critical acclaim and grossed a huge $850,316,953 worldwide. The success of the film has clearly led Disney to believe that it could be an Oscar contender, because they’ve released the script for free on the Walt Disney Studio Awards website in an effort to increase its chances of getting a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. The 129 page script was written by Eric Pearson, Craig Kyle, and Christopher Yost, and is definitely worth a read if you happen to be an aspiring scriptwriter yourself.

Sadly though, as anyone good at recognizing patterns will tell you, the fact that Thor: Ragnarok didn’t pick up a single Golden Globe, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination means that it will most likely be ignored by the Oscars. But don’t despair, because there are always the Saturns.

If you happen to be one of the only people in the world who didn’t see Thor: Ragnarok on the big screen, be aware that it’s being released on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on 26 February 2018. Thor will also return to battle the Mad Titan known as Thanos in this year’s blockbuster extravaganza Avengers: Infinity War, which hits cinemas on May 4, 2018. Interestingly, the Ragnarok screenplay confirmed that the spaceship we saw at the end of the film did indeed belong to Thanos, which sadly won’t spell good news for the Asgardians Thor was attempting to relocate to Earth.
