Theme Park Simulator Comes To Switch This April

Badland Publishing has announced that the previously smartphone exclusive Theme Park Simulator on April 17th.

Theme Park Simulator allows you to control eleven different rides with the Switch’s touchscreen allowing you to calibrate speed and direction. There will be two roller coasters included among the rides.

Players can also experience the rides in first and third-person views, as well as use smoke and light effects to get a reaction out of your attendees.

Here’s a quick feature list:

– Manage speed, direction and motion patterns of each ride through a simple and realistic control systems.
– At any time you can choose between a free camera or different pre-set views, including cameras that reflect the passengers’ point of view.
– Drive a bumper car via touch screen!
– Activate light and smoke effects to surprise the passengers and change the decoration of the rides!
– The audience will react in real time to your decisions: you’ll hear their screams as you increase speed and change the motion pattern of each ride.

Its iOS version has a review score of 4.1 from 180 ratings.

While it’s not exactly the game many are crying out for, there’s something about this game that makes it stand out. Maybe it’s the odd faces that look like someone’s copied and pasted real faces over the top of models.

Theme Park Simulator will only be available digitally on the Switch’s eShop. No price was mentioned in the press release.
