The Mandalorian Is Fortnite Season 5’s Secret Battle Pass Skin

"This is the way to market a season."

It’s almost tradition that a new Fortnite Battle Pass gets leaked by someone in the build-up to a new season of Fortnite, and now Epic themselves have revealed that The Mandalorian himself will be coming as part of the Battle Pass for Season 5.

As first discovered by iFireMonkey, official assets for Fortnite Crew have inexplicably given an early glimpse at the Battle Pass for the upcoming season, revealing the secret skin in the process. The Mandalorian, also known as Mando (or Din Djarin, if you want to get official), will be the new secret skin for Season 5 alongside Baby Yoda (The Child, if you want to be annoying about it) presumably acting as some kind of back bling.

It also looks like we will be going back to the normal structure for Battle Passes in Season 5, meaning no Marvel skins. Two original skins can be seen flanking Mando in the leaked Battle Pass image.

How Do I Unlock Mando?

In terms of previous secret skins, players had to complete weekly challenges after purchasing the Battle Pass that unlocked with each new week. It seems likely that will be the case for The Mandalorian/Mando/Din in Season 5, too.

How Much Is The New Battle Pass?

As is the case every season, the Fortnite Season 5 Battle Pass will set you back 950 V-Bucks. However, you will also be able to get the Battle Pass with the brand new Fortnite Crew subscription, which will cost you £9.99/€11.99/$11.99 a month for the BP, 1000 V-Bucks, and an exclusive skin.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
