Here’s Fortnite Running On the Xbox Series S

It's Fortnite!

Curious about how Fortnite runs on next-gen? Here’s two and a half matches of gameplay captured on the Xbox Series S, launched on November 12th.

As someone who’s played most of his Fortnite “career” on the stock PS4, playing on a Series S represents a pretty significant step up. Not only is it just a smoother gameplay experience overall, but even the menus feel responsive.

This new version of Fortnite also brings with it a change to how the storms look, as well as new death animations. It’s not a grand overhaul of the game, but it’s a pretty good upgrade until Fortnite moves over to the new Unreal Engine in 2021.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 4 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
