The Hart Foundation Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame

Our Harts are full.

The Hart Foundation

It would be fitting to describe this year’s ceremony with the words “about time” as, after being first reported by Yahoo Sports, another legendary tag team is finally getting their names into the Hall of Fame and that team is none other The Hart Foundation.

Formed of Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, who is already a Hall of Famer in his own right, and the late great Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart, The Hart Foundation dominated the WWE’s (then WWF) tag team division in the early 1990s, taking on other icons of tag team wrestling such as Demolition, The British Bulldogs, and The Legion of Doom, becoming two time WWF Tag Team Champions.

The Hart Foundation would go on to describe more than just Jim and Bret but the entire Hart family, including Bret’s brother Owen and ‘The British Bulldog’ Davey Boy Smith, however the latter two are yet to have their legacies inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Hart Foundation is incredibly deserving of the honour and hopefully their induction, along with Mark Henry’s speech from 2018’s Hall of Fame ceremony, will serve as the catalyst for Owen Hart to finally take his rightful place in the Hall of Fame.

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is shaping up to be a special one, with Chyna finally being inducted, albeit with D-Generation X and the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man also finally getting his well overdue induction.
