Bandai Namco have announced that Tekken 7’s next DLC character, Lidia Sobieska, who is making history as the series’ first Polish character, will be available to download as part of Season Pass 4 from tomorrow, alongside a new stage. Both with also be available to purchase separately, and you can check out the trailer at the top of the page.
So What’s Lidia’s Deal?
Lidia is a prominent Polish politician who lost her father at a young age. Despite being a politician, Lidia is also world champion in Karate, making her a formidable opponent. The war that the Mishima Zaibatsu created (Tekken has a weird story) has been particularly tough on Poland, so she’s decided to settle the whole thing by cracking someone’s skull with her own two fists.
Lidia’s arrival also comes with a brand new stage, Island Paradise, which looks to be the same pool party where Lee Chaolan made Heihachi wear speedos and an explosive bowtie. You can even see Lee- I mean, uh, Violet, hanging around in the background.
