Bandai Namco have announced that their upcoming action-RPG Tales Of Arise will be delayed, and the reason why is exactly what you’d expect: COVID-19. The new release date is currently unknown, though a new launch window will be provided when there’s more details to share.
In a statement published on the Bandai Namco website, Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomizawa says: “While COVID-19 has affected some aspects of development, we’ve done our best to adapt to the situation and have implemented remote development capabilities for our team. However, we will need more time to achieve the quality and provide the gorgeous experience we envision for our players, and therefore we decided to delay the launch timing for Tales of Arise.”
Tales of Arise, which is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One, is the next instalment in the renowned “Tales of”, which will tell the story of those opposing planets that feature huge class disparities. Hopefully, the delay will ensure that the final product is as polished and worth playing as it should be. Are you excited about Tales of Arise? Sound off in the comments.
