Is Superman Coming To Fortnite?

Super news.

Superman

It seemed like it was only a matter of time until Superman came to Fortnite, what with the fact that he’s one of the biggest superheroes in pop culture and that Epic have worked closely with DC in recent times. According to a new teaser, Superman may finally be landing in Chapter 2 – Season 7.

A second teaser called Catalog Entry #407-740 for the new season shows a pair of glasses, a tiny guitar that might be a charm, and a new weapon from Save the World, the Pulsar 9000.

The glasses don’t immediately seem like a big deal, until you read the description that goes along with the teaser:

“When placed onto the face this strange plastic device seemed to make us appear as unrecognizable.”

Superman’s alter-ego, Clark Kent, has a simple disguise of a pair of glasses, which somehow stops anyone from recognising who he really is. It’s a bit silly, which this description appears to be poking fun at. It also suggests that we will be getting a Clark Kent style for Superman, if he comes to the game.

There’s also the fact that the upcoming season looks to be all about aliens and Superman himself is an alien, hailing from the planet of Krypton. Combine that with the fact that we’ve had a Batman storyline in the background all season with the comics and it all lines up.

When Will Superman Come To Fortnite?

While it’s not entirely confirmed, it seems likely that Superman will be a Battle Pass skin for Fortnite: Season 7, possibly either the major crossover skin or the secret skin that unlocks down the line.

In that case, you will be able to get Superman by grinding through your Battle Pass, which either costs 950 V-Bucks or is included with a Fortnite Crew subscription.

We’ll find out for sure when Fortnite: Season 7 begins on June 8th, 2021.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
