Summer Game Fest, the collection of gaming industry events and announcements created by industry veteran Geoff Keighley that started last year is coming back for 2021, and it’s all kicking off on June 10th with a huge showcase event.
What Time Does The Summer Game Fest Kickoff Event Start?
The Summer Game Fest Kickoff Event will start on June 10th, 2021 at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST. The event will likely last for around two hours, and will feature announcements and showcases from the biggest names in the gaming industry. According to Geoff Keighley, the event will feature at least 12 world premieres, with the potential for even more than that.

That being said, if there’s a development team or publisher who isn’t featured, they’ll likely be part of the other Summer Game Fest events. Currently announced events include Ubisoft Forward on June 12th, Steam Next Fest on June 16th and EA Play Live on July 22nd, though more events will likely be announced in the coming weeks.
Which Partners Have Been Confirmed For Summer Game Fest?
The list of confirmed partner is a who’s who of the gaming industry, with giants like Xbox, PlayStation, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega, Activision, 2K, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. and more besides. Expect to see plenty of marquee announcements from these companies across the entirety of Summer Game Fest 2021.
