Street Fighter 6 – How To Unlock Each Character’s Outfit 2

One of the most exciting parts about a new installment of a fighting game franchise is being able to see the newest designs for iconic and recognisable characters. Still, being able to see those throwback costumes you’ve grown up with is just as satisfying, so it’s no surprise that Street Fighter 6 includes a bunch of nostalgic costumes for the classic characters, along with some alternative outfits for the newcomers too.

However, unlocking those second outfits might not be immediately clear for some players, so if you want to unlock some new outfit choices for your favourite characters, here’s everything you need to know about unlocking Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6.

When you first boot up Street Fighter 6, you might think that the only way to unlock Outfit 2 for each character is to purchase them in the shop for 50 Fighter Coins, which will also unlock all ten colours for that outfit too. This method costs real money, so unless you have no plans on touching the single-player RPG mode World Tour, you shouldn’t do this.

Instead, go into the World Tour mode and become a student of the character whose outfit you want to unlock. Alongside earning EXP to level up the fighting style of that character, you can also increase your Bond with them by completing certain quests, interacting with them, sparring with them and giving them gifts.

This Bond system is how you earn each character’s second outfit. Once you raise a master’s Bond level to its maximum of 100, you’ll receive a notification that you have unlocked that particular character’s Outfit 2, which can be used whenever you play as that character. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s better than paying real cash for these outfits.
