We’ve known it was coming for a while, but it’s just been confirmed: Star Wars Battlefront is making its way to Xbox One’s EA Access and PC’s Origin Access next week.
It’s been in the pipeline since October and has been rumoured to be coming in the months since, but considering Rogue One is right around the corner on the 16th, adding Battlefront to the vault on the 13th is a very wise move. They released the full game originally to coincide with The Force Awakens, which has led people to note that’s why it might not have been good as it should have been.
Battlefront is great in small doses, but rather grindy over anything more than a couple of hours at a time. The vanilla game is quite light on content, so while you might be getting the full title on EA Access in a week’s time, you’re probably going to need to navigate the confusing collection of DLC to get the most out of it.
