Soulcalibur VI Season 2 Kicks Off Next Week

A tale of souls and swords, eternally retooled.

Soulcalibur VI

Bandai Namco have announced that the second season of Soulcalibur VI will start on November 25th, bringing with it a host of new content, gameplay and balance changes and some brand new mechanics to really change up the game. Check out the trailer below.

From November 25th, an update will go live for all players that adds a host of new moves to every character on the roster, allowing for brand new combo opportunities. This update will also see the inclusion of two brand new battle mechanics: the Soul Attack and the Resist Impact. They’re pretty self-explanatory, as the Soul Attack is a strengthened strike while Resist Impact is able to repel any attack, including unblockable attacks.

Season 2 will then begin in earnest on November 26th, as returning character Hilde will be available to DLC 7 and Season Pass 2 owners. She’s the first character of the second Season Pass, with Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru also confirmed along with two unannounced characters.
