The island in Sons of the Forest can be quite the hell to navigate, and that’s not just because of the cannibals lurking everywhere. While you can get GPS fobs to place markers on the map, that doesn’t help you to navigate the basics or orienteering and actually zoom in and out.
To use your map, first press M. If you want to zoom in and out of the map, press the middle mouse button. There isn’t much control over this and you can’t see the entire map, but it does give you a better idea of where those precious circles are that you need to find for loot.
