You won’t survive too long in Sons of the Forest without weapons to defend yourself, and one of the ways that you can do just that from a distance is to get your hands on a bow. Luckily, these can be crafted, and they don’t take too many resources for the most basic versions.
To craft the Crafted Bow in Sons of the Forest, you need the following resources:
– 2x Stick
– 1x Duct Tape
– 1x Rope
With those in hand, press I to go to your inventory, then right click all of the items needed for the bow, then click on the gear icon to combine them all into the Crafted Bow.
Hold down the left mouse button to nock an arrow and release to fire. Bear in mind that arrows don’t fly entirely straight forever and have a downward trajectory after a short while, but the longer you hold the left stick, the further the arrow will go. You will need to craft arrows as well, of course.
