With a new Skate game announced, Skate fans are all hyped up to try it out. For now though, they will have to tide themselves over with Skate 3 just a little more. The game has been a fan favorite for a while now, but people are always finding new ways to enjoy it. One way to get more fun out of the game is by using the Skate 3 cheat codes.
Want to turn into a hoverboard-riding Isaac Clarke from Dead Space while you skate through a park filled with the undead? Cheats are your gateway to classic wacky skateboarding fun.
Skate 3 is officially on the PS3 and Xbox 360, although you can technically play it on PC through emulators.
How To Enter Skate 3 Cheats
Players who’ve had experience with any of the early GTA games might just try typing out Skate 3 cheat codes whenever they want and expect them to trigger. There are extra steps you need to take. You have to go to the Extras menu and pick the “Enter Cheat Code” option. That’s where you have to input the code you want.
Another important thing to note is that cheats can only be activated and used in Freestyle mode. However, an exploitable glitch allows you to use certain cheats, like the Isaac Clarke skin cheat, on other game modes.
If you ever want to go back to playing normally or try a new combination of cheats, simply re-input a cheat code to remove it.
Skate 3 PS3 & Xbox 360 Cheat Codes
One great thing about the Skate 3 cheat codes is that they’re the same across both platforms. PS3 and Xbox 360 players don’t have to memorize a different set of codes if they want to switch consoles. Here are all the Skate 3 cheat codes for both of these consoles.
- deadspacetoo: Unlocks Isaac from Dead Space.
- dontbesomayo: Unlocks Miracle Whip clothes and objects.
- mcfly: Turns skateboard into hoverboard.
- miniskaters: Characters shrink but have enlarged heads, and limbs.
- streetsweeper: Resets all movable objects to original positions.
- zombie: Pedestrians become zombies and the game will have a sepia tint to it.
The Best Skate 3 Cheats
Unlike other games that have cheats, Skate 3 cheat codes are mostly just visual changes that don’t really affect gameplay. The only cheats that will affect your gameplay are the zombie and streetsweeper cheats.
If you ever want more of a challenge, use the zombie cheat to turn pedestrians into zombies that will start coming after you if you get too close. Zombies that touch you will cause you to trip and fall. If they catch you while standing still, they’ll shove you to the ground. The game will also get a cool sepia tone to give it that post-apocalyptic vibe.
The streetsweeper cheat is useful for when you’ve repositioned a bunch of stuff and want to quickly reset it all. Say, for example, you created a custom obstacle course, but it didn’t work out so well, and you want to start over. The streetsweeper cheat will allow you to make everything go back to its default positions without having to restart your game. Having a messy map can be annoying but cleaning it all up piece by piece is even worse.
Also, remember that you don’t have to settle for one cheat; you can have multiple active cheats at the same time. Try out different combinations of cheats to maximize your fun and play the game however you want.
