GTA 4 Cheat Codes – PC, PlayStation & Xbox

GTA IV
GTA IV

After causing massive chaos in Liberty City in GTA 3, you might want to bring that same chaos over to the renewed version of Liberty City in GTA 4. Aside from the mayhem you can wreck normally, you can turn it up a notch and use these GTA 4 cheat codes.

Want to spawn the best cars, get instantly healed, or get the deadliest weapons? You can have all these and more using cheat codes.

GTA 4 is officially available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, with backwards compatibility available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X & S. If you have GTA 4 on more than one of these consoles, you’ll be glad to know that memorizing cheats is way easier now.

One significant change with GTA 4 cheat codes is that they’re all the same across all platforms. So, whether you’re playing on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation, you only have to memorize one code for each cheat, and you can use it even if you switch consoles.

How To Enter GTA 4 Cheats

Entering cheats in GTA 4 isn’t as straightforward as it is with the previous games. First, you’ll have to bring up your phone and then bring up the phone number pad like how you would call someone. Then, type in the code you want there and press call.

This process might seem like a hassle at first, but you only need to input the numbers once per cheat. Once you’ve used a cheat, it will be stored in your phone’s cheat menu, and you can just select it there if you want to use it again.

You should also know that some cheats will block specific achievements. If you ever want to get every achievement in GTA 4, you need to create a copy of your current save file before using cheats just to be sure. If an achievement gets blocked, you can always go back to that save file.

GTA 4 Cheat Codes

Now that you know how to input cheat codes and what their consequences are, here’s the full list of GTA 4 cheat codes.

They are separated into three parts: the base GTA 4 game, The Lost and Damned DLC, and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC. You can still use the cheats from the base game on the DLCs, but not vice versa.

The Best GTA 4 Cheats

As you may have noticed, there are fewer cheat codes in GTA 4 than in the previous GTA games. While that may be a bit of a downer, it also makes the best cheats stand out more.

The most practical cheat would be the Health, Armor, and Ammo cheat since it’s what will save you in most situations. Whether you’re in a tough fight or run out of ammo, this is the go-to cheat.

The vehicle spawn cheats are pretty great too. There’s no money cheat in GTA 4, but what you can do is use the vehicle spawn cheats and sell them to Stevie after you’ve finished the Stevie’s Car Theft missions. You can get as much cash as you want this way.
