Seth Rollins Debuts New Knee Strike Finisher On RAW

Extreme Rules Seth Rollins

A nice little bit of storytelling from WWE here: Seth Rollins has retired the Pedigree, a move which he adopted from Triple H, after beating The Game at Wrestlemania 33.

A strike-based finisher, Rollins unleashed it on last night’s RAW to take down Karl Anderson in a tag team match. Showing hesitation to use the Pedigree, Rollins backed out of the move before officially debuting the new knee strike, a move which looks like it owes something to Kenny Omega’s Rain Trigger.

Check out the footage below from the three minute mark.

Rollins previously debuted the maneuver at house shows to a mixed response from fans. Personally, the Stone Cold Stunner didn’t become the most iconic finishing move in wrestling history overnight so I am giving it time to settle.

Plus, he broke John Cena’s nose this way. Makes it badass.
