Safe In Our World Launches Covid-19 Hub To Share Resources And Advice

Mental health matters.

Safe In Our World

Video game mental health charity Safe In Our World have launched a Covid-19 hub on their official website, with the aim of providing official resources and guidance for those who work in the gaming industry, or those who simply enjoy playing video games.

The hub provides information and support, focusing on how governments are reacting to the ongoing pandemic, along with providing advice for how to cope while in lockdown. While the threat of Covid-19 is worrisome enough, and the measures being undertaken are necessary, it’s great to see a huge charity attempt to address the mental health implications that come with self-isolation.

Safe In Our World chairman Leo Zullo said the following in a press release: “As a charity, we’re doing our best to support those around us, and the wider industry. Whether working from home within the industry, or our players, everyone will be adjusting to a new normal. This dedicated hub is designed to signpost techniques to help deal with the challenge of isolation. We’ll continue to do everything we can to help.”

The charity launched back in 2019, and Safe In Our World has been responsible in publishing titles like Fractured Minds and Avicii: Invector, while also aiming to create an online destination for anyone who needs mental health support.
