According to The Know, citing an “inside source”, GTA 6 will be taking place in two locations. While most of the game will be set in or around Vice City, Rockstar’s version of Miami, some missions will have players flying to South America.
The game is said to be releasing at least 3-4 years from now, so we’ll most likely be seeing the newest entry in the GTA series in 2022.
One of the main leads of the game will be a female character for the first time in GTA history, but it’s still unclear if Rockstar will follow in the footsteps of GTA 5 and have multiple protagonists again.
Of course, as with all rumours, all of this should be taken with several grains of salt.
On top of that, we don’t know if it’ll be in the same time period as GTA: Vice City, or if it’ll have anything to do with the characters we know and love.
