Rogue One: Mads Mikkelsen Accidentally Reveals His Role

It’s almost a miracle how little to nothing about The Force Awakens was leaked before the film’s release. Disney kept a very tight lid on things, probably because the threat of death was looming for anyone who spoiled the mystery.

The same rumour mill has already kicked well into gear for standalone film Rogue One with forums abuzz and idiots’ feathers sufficiently ruffled. Even though we still have a long way to until the film’s release and the inevitable trickle of information that’s a big part of the modern Star Wars marketing campaigns, one of its stars has accidentally said too much already.

Mads Mikkelsen, professional badass, was speaking in an interview when he inadvertently let slip:

“Felicity [Jones] is playing this lovely young and strong woman. I play her father. That was too much. I’m sorry.”

Oh, Mads. Just a minute before he buggered up, he actually said that he would have to murder everyone if he said anything. He is Hannibal, after all. Expect everyone at Sky News to be part of a lasagna before the week is up.
