Capcom have slowly been dripfeeding information to us regarding Resident Evil Village, but one aspect of the game has certainly united not just the RE fanbase, but practically the entire internet: everyone loves the game’s big tall vampire, Lady Dimitrescu. Okay, by love, I mean “everyone is super horny for the big vampire lady”, and it would appear that “love” has been noticed by Capcom.
Capcom Have Addressed The Fan Reception To Lady Dimitrescu?
Oh yeah, they’ve seen all your thirst tweets (I assume). Taking to Twitter, Resident Evil Village’s Art Director, Tomonori Takano has published a statement through the official Resident Evil Twitter account addressing everyone’s new favourite horror monster. Check it out for yourself below.

In the statement, he says: “Most recently, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated. It’s great that they’re able to take the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu, especially, has received much fanfare both domestically and overseas, which has made all of us in the development team extremely happy.”
Okay, But How Tall Is Tall Vampire Lady?
Capcom also know that Lady Dimitrescu’s height has been of particular interest, and so he’s decided to drop a small nugget of information: “If you include her hat and high heels, she’s 2.9m (approximately 9’6”) tall.” Wait, so if we know her height with high heels on, does that mean there’ll be a scene where she takes them off to stand on your throat?
May 7th can’t come soon enough.
