The CQBR Assault Rifle is a strong weapon in Resident Evil 4 Remake that can be found late into the game.
The CQBR Assault Rifle is located in the Library section in the Castle, and can only be access by Leon in Chapter 10. You may come across where it’s hidden earlier with Ashley, but you won’t be able to actually get it until you resume control of Leon.
Before you get the weapon, you will need the Cubic Device, which is located at the following spot inside a chest by the Armory:
With the Cubic Device in tow, head over to the library, then make your way to the same area that you grabbed the keys with Ashley. Watch out for the knights.
Approach the wall at the spot above, then use your Cubic Device to solve a quick puzzle (just make sure the shapes line up with the one in the wall) and open up a wall panel. Claim the CQBR from within.
The CQBR is the most unique weapon across all of Resident Evil 4, as it allows you to go into first-person and is close to burst fire in how it operates.
However, it unfortunately isn’t that feasible a weapon, as it requires Rifles Ammo, a somewhat hard to come across ammo. You’re able to use your ammo far more economically with a rifle like the Stingray instead, but you can at the very least sell the CQBR to the Merchant for a good amount of Pesetas.
