Resident Evil 2 Remake Getting Free Ghost Survivors DLC

Capcom want you to play Resident Evil 2 for a long time.

Resident Evil 2

After the successful launch of Resident Evil 2 last week, Capcom have announced that they will be releasing a free update called Ghost Survivors which will pose a series of what if scenarios regarding some of the secondary characters in the game who didn’t make it out of Raccoon City. This new DLC will be released on February 15th.

The three characters in question are the gun ship owner, Robert Kendo, the mayor’s daughter Katherine Warren and a mysterious soldier. Not much else is known about these three scenarios, but we can surmise from the screenshots that Katherine’s mission, Runaway, is more stealth horror focused, while No Time to Mourn and Forgotten Soldier look more action focused.

Our man Jimmy reviewed Resident Evil 2 last week, and it’s fair to say he bloody loved it. Here’s what he had to say in his 9.5/10 review:

A faithful remake that does exactly what it needed to do while adding plenty of its own ideas, Resident Evil 2 is now as terrifying in 2019 as it was in 1998.
