Resident Evil 1, 4 and 0 Get Nintendo Switch Release Dates

Like you needed an excuse to play through them again.

Resident Evil

Three classic Resident Evil titles, the original, Zero and Resident Evil 4, have finally gotten a release date for the Nintendo Switch. All three games will be available from May 21st, which should give you plenty of time to clear your schedule to play through these classics for yet another time. Who cares about new games when you can watch Leon suplex some Spaniards?

Pre-orders for all three games will be available from February 28th on the Nintendo eShop. No word yet on pricing, but each game costs around £16 on other storefronts, so expect a similar price for the Nintendo Switch version. According to Polygon, Capcom have also announced that they’re planning to release a physical package containing RE 1 and RE Zero as the Resident Evil Origins Collection.

All three games have previously been available first on a Nintendo console, the Gamecube specifically. The HD port of the original games first emerged on the Gamecube, while RE Zero and RE 4 were Gamecube exclusives before they were ported to everything under the Sun.
