The worst kept secret in gaming is finally out of the bag, as Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally coming to the PC on November 5th, bringing new meaning to the rhyme “remember remember, the 5th of November”. The game will be available as part of Rockstar’s own PC launcher and the Epic Games Store. There’s also Steam release scheduled for December, so it’s not the worst timed exclusive in the world, let’s be honest.

As you’d imagine, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC brings with it a host of “graphical and technical enhancements”, along with plenty of new content including new Bounty Hunting missions, Gang Hideouts and weapons, with more content to be confirmed. The release will also include free access to Red Dead Online plus the recent updates that introduced specific job roles.

Pre-purchases for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will begin on October 9th, and will be exclusive to the Rockstar Games launcher until October 22nd. During that time, pre-purchasing the game will net you two free Rockstar PC titles, including GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.

One additional point to note is the confirmation that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a launch title for the game streaming platform Google Stadia, which is also scheduled to launch this November. For more details about the PC release of RDR 2, check out the official post from Rockstar.
