Sony have finally announced the release dates and prices for the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, and they’re pretty competitive. Well, the prices are at least. The release dates are a bit weird, but with COVID-19 still being a thing, we can’t really grumble too much.
The PS5 will be launching on November 12th for America, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, while the rest of the world will have to wait until November 19th. The standard PS5 console will cost $499.99/£449.99, while the PS5 Digital Edition will cost $399.99/£359.99. They’re pretty reasonable prices, ensuring that players will be spoiled for choice regarding a new console this November. Better still, it’s been confirmed that pre-order for the console will go live at selected retailers from tomorrow.
