Prey VR Listing Appears And Disappears Pretty Quickly

Like a mimic, it just popped up out of nowhere.

Prey

In a surprising bit of news, a listing for Prey VR appeared very briefly as a listing on ShopT0, a UK games retailer, before very quickly being removed. However, the internet is a watchful place, and screenshots were naturally grabbed before the listing got pulled.

As you can see, the listing for Prey VR is pretty sparse, with no logo, box art or product description of any kind. Naturally, Prey VR hasn’t been announced as of yet, however it’s a likely scenario as Bethesda haven’t been shy when it comes to adapting their properties into virtual reality. Previous games include Fallout 4, Skyrim and DOOM.

Given Prey’s highly immersive nature, where any object could be a mimic trying to murder, a VR could add an extra level of interactivity to the game. Imagine trying to fight off aliens with whatever you can grab, only for it to turn into a mimic in your hands. Potentially scary stuff, but it could make for an interesting VR title.
