Valve and NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios have announced during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase that Portal: Companion Collection will be dropping later today on the Nintendo Switch, bringing with it two brilliant first-person puzzle games on the handheld platform.

As you’d guess from the name, Portal: Companion Collection includes Portal 1 and 2, which have been ported and optimised for the Nintendo Switch. Both games see players trying to contend with a vindictive AI intent on pushing them through a series of punishing and difficult puzzles that require the use of an experimental portal gun. It’s also one of the funniest games ever made.

While they’re both incredibly funny, Portal 2 also has the distinction of a full co-op mode, where you and a friend control two robots trying to solve increasingly elaborate puzzles. The co-op in Portal 2 on the Nintendo Switch can be played either split-screen or via online play, so if you’ve got a co-op partner in the same room or in another part of the world, you’ll be able to complete the game together.
